John 10: 27-30- "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me; And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Fathers hand. I and the Father are one" ...

In an age when men's hearts are failing them because of fear, it is a real comfort to know that for the believer in Jesus Christ, as his personal Savior, there is the CERTAINTY of the SECURITY of the believers. Probably no passage in Scripture is as clear on this truth as that of the text above. Notice the following FACTS established beyond all contradiction: These are the Words of Jesus Himself. He knows every one of His own sheep. The sheep are identified by their following Him. Their salvation is a free gift - not earned or worked for - 'I give unto them' . . .

This gift is ETERNAL LIFE - it lasts forever. It cannot be lost, for they will never perish. They are in the hands of the Savior and beyond the reach of the enemy. They are also in the hand of the Father for double security. They are the Fathers 'gift' to the Son. He has earned them, by His active and passive obedience; by His keeping the law fully, and by his dying for their sins. These acts of obedience thus assure Jesus that it is the will of the Father that none of those given Him shall be lost, "And this is the will of Him who sent me, that I should lose nothing of all that He has given me . . .", John 6 : 39. Jesus and the Father are agreed on this, for Jesus adds, "I and the Father are one" . . v. 30.

In the light of all this, we ask again with Apostle Paul, "Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?" Paul answers 'nothing in this world or the worlds to come, plus not even ourselves . . .' Therefore if you are born again, are a true believer in Jesus Christ for your salvation, trusting Him and Him alone as your Savior from sin, you may also have this assurance that you are saved for eternity.

God said it, why argue the point, or deny yourself the benefit of assurance; the FACTS remain the same . . . You ARE saved and His for eternity ! ! Praise Him for this wonderous gift, and rejoice in the God of your salvation, now and forever . . .
