OBITUARIES

Mr. Jan Van Tienderen (age 77) passed away on June 3, 1998, Ebenezer Reformed Church, Mississauga, Ont.

In Memory of

Mrs. Nellie Dunnink

On June 2, 1998, at the age of 92, Mrs. Nellie Dunnink passed away, after a long illness at Mount Nemo Nursing Home in Burlington, Ont. Nellie and her late husband Arend were instrumental, with the support of many others, in realizing a dream that we now know as First Reformed Church, Hamilton (1949).

As wife of an R.C.A. Fieldman and elder, she shared her home with many immigrant families and provide hospitality for the visiting clergy from the U.S.A. During those early years, their home and farm was the meeting place for many of the young people’s events.

She served First Reformed in countless ways. Let us always treasure the memory of our early pioneers!
