Title - Ten Beatitudes for Parents

Topic - Parenting

1. Blessed is the home and church where the family does not compete with Christ.

2. Blessed is the home and church that finds its greatest fulfillment in Christ.

3. Blessed is the home and church where promises are kept and vows are fulfilled out of a commitment to Christ as Lord.

4. Blessed is the home and church where Mother's Day and Father's Day find their true meaning because it is first of all the Lord's Day.

5. Blessed is the home and church where caregivers arc honoured, faithful labour appreciated, weaknesses accepted, and failings forgiven for Jesus' sake.

6. Blessed is the home and church where members love one another as they love themselves, and the peace of Christ rules in every heart.

7. Blessed is the home and church where our highest commitments are not adulterated and compromised by lesser callings.

8. Blessed is the home and church with an attitude of gratitude to God, where we worry less about what we are getting, and more about what we have to give, and focus less on personal benefit, and more on being a blessing.

9. Blessed is the home and church where words heal instead of hurt, where the members speak well of one another, speak lovingly to one another, and speak up for one another.

10. Blessed is the home and church that does not bear the fruit of discontent, but bears fruit for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.
